OBJECTIVE OF BOSK: The objective of Bosk is to be the player with the most points when the Winter comes to an end.

MATERIALS: 1 Park Board, 144 Leaf Tokens, 4 Squirrel Tokens, 1 Score Track, 1 Hiker Token, 1 Wind Direction Marker, 1 Wind Board, 32 Leaves, 32 Trees, and a Rulebook

OVERVIEW OF BOSK

In Bosk, players will nurture their trees that they chose to raise. The players may choose Maples, Oaks, or a variety of other trees! The more the hikers enjoy seeing the trees, the more points the players earn! Players will grow their trees throughout the Spring, scoring them in the Summer as the hikers gawk. In Autumn, the leaves fall, covering the terrain below, and in the Winter, the player with the most coverage, earns the most points! 온카지노

SETUP

To begin setup, place the game board in the middle of the playing area, ensuring that the correct side is up, depending on the number of players that there are. Each one of the players will then choose a species of tree, collecting all of the components that match that species. This includes a squirrel token, eight trees, thirty-six leaf tokens, and eight leaf tiles. 

The wind board and direction marker is placed to the side of the park board in the autumn season. The score track is placed off to the side, as it will just be used during the scoring portion of the game. The players will put a leaf token next to the score track, as they will play the role of markers throughout the game. One player is randomly chosen and given the hiker token!

GAMEPLAY

The game is played over the course of four seasons, two playing seasons and two scoring seasons. During the spring, the players will begin the lives of their trees. Starting with the first player, the players will take turns placing a tree on an empty intersection of the trails on the board. Placements continue clockwise until all players have placed their trees. Once all are placed, summer begins. 

During summer, points are earned for each trail on the board. Each row is tallied, adding the values of the trees for every player. As players earn points, the score marker that is associated with them is moved along the score track. If one player has the most points, then they earn two extra points. A new start player is then chosen. 

When Autumn begins, the wind board is placed on a side of the park board. Each player will take their turn blowing leaves off their trees, trying to cover as many squares as possible. Starting with the first player, the players will take their turn. The players will choose which tree their leaves will come from, placing a leaf tile in front of them. The player will then take the leaf token from the supply that is equal to the value on the leaf tile. 

The leaf tokens should then be placed where they form a path in the same direction as the wind. Leaves cannot be outside of the playing area, but they can be placed on any tile, even if they cover other leaves. The tree is removed. Once each player has taken their turn, the next season begins. 

The round comes to an end after the wind has been shifted to the right one space. The rounds continue until all of the trees are bare. Players will then earn points for the ground that they covered with leaves. 

END OF GAME

The game comes to an end after the Winter round. Players’ points are tallied. The player with the most points, wins the game!
